Nissan’s oldest car model, Datsun made the Indian Entry at the ongoing Auot Expo in Delhi. Named Datsun ‘Go’, the car is said to be priced an attractive under four lakhs!
The Datsun Go hatchback will be powered by a 1.2-liter gasoline engine and cost less than 4,00,000 rupees, said Vincent Cobee, Nissan’s Datsun brand chief. After the vehicle’s arrival in India, the car will begin sales in Indonesia, Russia and South Africa later this year.
Datsun has been in existence from as long ago as 1930’s, it was one of the most popular brand around ’70s. BUt Nissan discontinued the brand looking at focusing on a single name identity. The Datsun has been revived in 2012 and it now comes to India.
‘Go’ is to be followed by ‘Go +’ mini van towards the end of this year.
