The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu sets deadlines to central AP government appealed centre to complete Polavaram project ahead of 2019 polls. And he is meeting with Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati for this purpose. He urged the central minister to take action and focus on making AP a model State for water resource management.
According to the media report, Naidu said polavaram project which is a multi – purpose irrigation project, and they have to be ready before the next general elections. He also wants the interlinking of Godavari and Krishna rivers as NDA is already considering the interlinking of water resources. Uma bharti asserted Polavaram project is nation’s pride and promised all possible to complete it on time.
