Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao agreed upon to conduct a discussion on the issues like power shortage and farmers’ suicide in the newly formed state. The discussion will be held on Monday in a special evening session of the current budget session of state Assembly.
The various opposition parties created a chaos in Assembly on Friday on suspending 10 TDP MLA’s from the Assembly. The uproar arouses again when the state Agricultural Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy’s statement saying farmers were committing suicides due to their personal issues and not because of debts or power crisis. Opposition parties took a serious note of the statement and demanded the minister to apologise for his irresponsible remark.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao came forward in support of Pocharam and clarified that his remarks have been misquoted by media.
