And the timing for the power cuts will be mentioned as follows peak morning between 6.30 am and 9 am and other one before 6 pm in the city as the officials said. “Agriculture pump sets across the state will be supplied power after 6 pm till late at night”, he said.
The two discoms in the state are using 5,209 MW and this will increase as increase in temperature. “As of now, we are using full power that is generated from all sources along with consumption of 3,600 MW and increases to 4,200 MW during the months of March and April. And the government discussing with Transco team to get power from outside during summer”, said official pravin Kumar Reddy.

“We are expecting our rightful share of 53.89 percent of power generated there” Mr Reddy said. And the CM of the state also wrote a letter to Prime Minister to the supply of power from the central pool as officials hoped.
