Hyderabad MP candidate, MIM chief Asaduddin Owasi has given a call to the public to reject the unethical alliance of TDP-BJP in these elections. He has reminded that MIM has always been a secular party despite the wrongful portrayal by other parties. This is what he said…
“Our work has been our agenda, manifesto to the public, MIM is the only party that is in touch with the public each and everyday, our previous work is before the public to see, Old City and Hyderabad entirely will have to strongly focus on solving the power and water crisis it is going to face. Give us your mandate and strength to address these issues with the next government.
BJP-TDP alliance is a communal opportunistic alliance, it has to be defeated to strengthen secularism. Hyderabad has always laid it’s belief in MIM with regard to the issue of development of the region. MIM is the only party that has consistently took all sections of the society along with it. There is a large population of dalits here, Christians, Seemandhra public is here.. they support and believe in us more.
MIM has been a secular party, there is no doubt about it. In this election, we are contesting from several other parts of the city, Nizamabad too, we are getting good response form all the areas.
We will wait for the mandate to be given by the Telangana public before thinking about supporting any party later. But we have to ensure the defeat of anti secular forces.
We oppose giving law and order responsibility to the Governor in Hyderabad, we will go to Supreme Court over this. You have made Hyderabad a joint capital, Telangana needs a separate high court, the water needs of the city will be fulfilled by Pranahita Chevella project water, there is also a need for separate power generation for the city as there is a drastic power deficit here, the reservations given to muslims should continue, Urdu should be made second official language, other issues will be discussed when the results come out.
TDP and Babu are frustrated, they are so communal that Babu had to go to Tirupati to criticise me, I proposed changes to the T Bill which would have done good to HYD, but TDP opposed them, they are not concerned about HYD’s welfare, I am sure, TDP will be defeated in Seemandhra too,” said Owaisi talking to the media today in Hyderabad.
