New Delhi former police commissioner Neeraj Kumar made a startling comment about the surrender of the most wanted criminal and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. When Neeraj was DIG, CBI, Dawood is believed to have phoned up and informed that he would surrender 15 months after Mumbai serial explosions.
Under threat from his opponents in India, Dawood wanted to surrender. But the then CBI chief Vijayarama Rao had not agreed to it. Neeraj, who retired as police commissioner of Delhi, is planning to write this in his book.
