The ‘Controversial’ land deals discussion has been put off to tomorrow by the Telangana government as the ruling party MLAs created a hullabaloo when the TDP MLA Revanth Reddy started speaking in the Assembly.
The TRS MLAs demanded Revanth Reddy to tender an apology for giving incorrect statements in the house on the power issue.
The house was adjourned for half-an-hour following the din. When the house resumed again, Speaker S Madhusudan Chary announced a discussion on social security pensions.
Meanwhile, Chief Minsiter K Chandrasekhara Rao attacked Revanth Reddy. “Anybody can make allegations but it is their responsibility to prove them. If they cannot prove (the allegations), such members should be expelled from the House. Every party should support this to uphold dignity of the House. Power is not permanent”, said KCR.
