DSC notification likely

TY12TET2_1142588fThe government is likely to issue the DSC notification shortly as the high court directed the State to fill up teacher vacancies in three weeks. The apex court also ordered the government to ensure notification issue. The court expressed anger over the teachers’ shortage in the State. Earlier, pil was filed in the court informing that teachers were not to be seen in the village schools and the court directed the government to submit a list of vacancies of teachers. The court was informed that 10,961 teacher posts in 26,050 schools are to
be filled up and deputy cm Kadiam Srihari made clear that all the vacancies would be filled up next year. In Mahbubnagar 2024  posts, Adilabad 1,818, Rangareddy 1,442, Medak 1,257, Nizambad 944, Hyderabad 763, Khammam 724, Nalgonda 689, Karimnagar 666 and Warangal district 634 posts are vacant. The top brass is in discussions whether to hold
DSC, TeT examinations jointly or separately.
