Encounter videos to AIIMS

High Court tg The High Court which is hearing a petition of the civil rights union on the encounter of Vidyasagar Reddy and Sruthi at Tadwai, Warangal, directed the videos of the dead bodies to be sent to the AIIMS to decide whether there were any injuries apart from bullet wounds. Advocate Raghu on behalf of his client prayed the court that the videos should not be sent to Usmania or Gandhi hospitals as these two would easily be influenced by the government. The additional advocate general Ramachandra Rao told the court that the postmortem of Sruthi and Vidyasagar were performed at the MGM Hospital in Warangal and the entire process was video taped. Adjourning the case for three weeks the High Court directed the director of AIIMS to give its report in a sealed cover.
