Entrance Tests leads to losses to Both States

Entrance-tests-leadsHyderabad: The eight common Entrance Tests, including the Eamcet could have losses to both the states.AP is yet to initiate the procedure; both the TSCHE stated that they could face losses.
Officials are tight lipped about the estimated loss figure. Nearly 2.5 lakh students could appear for the TS Eamcet this year which means the government is expecting about 5 crore from the exam.CETs together could lead to a loss of about Rs 3 crore for the government.
TSCHE Papi Reddy said, “The overhead costs remain the same despite bifurcation and the number of aspirants are coming down. We are expecting some losses, but this is not a commercial venture.So we should not think on those lines”.
