Hyderabad: Power utilities of Telangana have decided to make the course correction regarding the abnormalities that were exposed in the annual report submitted few days back. And the ARRs shown the share of Telangana discoms is 52.12 % instead of 53.89%.
The power supplied from Machkund and Tungabhadra plants on the basis of population, power supplied to the discoms. They have played into the hands of AP which has been arguing that the power sharing shall be not on the basis of supply but on the basis of consumption.
It reduced the quantity from 53.89% to 52.12%. ARRs of the TS power distribution company and Tamil Nadu PDCL supported APs view. “We will carry out a course and issue with our chief managing director and take a decision”, the TSPDCL chief said.
