Exports in May rose by 12.4%, stand at $28 billion: Commerce ministry

Exports in May in comparison with last year rose by 12.4%, the sharpest rise in last six months, for which a weak rupee is also a reason, suggested the data released by the ministry of Commerce and Industry. May exports have reached $28 billion, while the trade deficit increased from $10.09 billion of April to $11.23 billion in May.
