“Family centric, autocratic rule in TRS will not help the Telangana state or the society. Sonia took the risk of cutting the party into two parts, risking the burning away of the party in one region, her risk needs to be supported, her effort, commitment needs to be appreciated. The social justice agenda being proposed by Congress is the right approach for Telangana, hence I have determined to be with Congress in the future journey of the state, I announce rededicating myself to the cause of building a new, golden Telangana state,” said TRS leader Dasoju Shravan after he joined Congress this morning.
“Last five years struggle was one phase of the Telanagan struggle, the target has now been achieved necessitating a shift and focus in the approach for the new state, Congress is the only party with the right ability and strategy for the reconstruction of Telangana,” added Shravan who was with TRS as the party’s politburo member for five years.
Kattela Srinivas Yadav, Kacham Satyanarayana, Sudhakar Reddy and other JAC, TRS leaders have also joined congress in the presence of Jairam Ramesh, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Damodara Rajanarsimha.
