Farmers in Karimnagar Happy with the Budget

Powerloom-workersThe Powerloom workers in Telangana are more than happy after the state government announced in the budget to waive their loans from banks. About 1,000 workers of powerlooms would be benefitted with this announcement in Karimnagar district alone.

The farmers are happy too, as the state announced to allocate Rs. 1,820 Crore for Pranahita-Chevella project. Finance Minister Etela Rajender, who hails from Karimnagar, also attempted to please the farmers in the district by announcing Rs. 200 Crore for Mid-Manair project.

The government also announced to allocate Rs. 237 Crore for completing Yellampalli project and Rs. 35 Crore for the SRSP. The budget allocated Rs. 22.96 Crore to promote apparel market and Rs. 6.88 Crore to extend financial support to weavers not associated with Self Help Groups.
