Even as the unseasonal rains and squally weather hit the farmers destroying the standing crops in its wake, weather forecast Indicated that stormy depression from Vidharba to south Tamil Nadu would continue over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The stormy and thunderous rains damaged roads and houses apart from the crops in Telangana districts.
Met office also stated that hail storm with chances of cumulonimbus clouds would result in showers. Trees were uprooted and electric poles were flattened in Nalgonda district and in Miryalaguda, one housetop was thrown away due to gales which by and large dampened the spirit of helpless farmers.
