FII’s put over one lakh crores in Indian markets this year!

The Foreign Institutional Investors have pumped in 1.03,548 crore rupees ($17 billion) already into the Indian markets this year. Of the amounts, 51,433 crores went into equities and 52,115 into debt markets. The first week of June itself saw an influx of 11,625 crores, according to data released be Sebi. In comparison, 2013 saw investments of 62,288 crores. Total FII investments in India have been $ 188 billion or over 9 lakh crores.
