Final Arguments on 2G case from Nov 10

2gA special court hearing 2G spectrum allocation scam case has fixed November 10 for final commencing of arguments.

Former Telecom Minister A Raja, DMK MP Kanimozhi and 15 others, including three firms, are facing trial in this case.

The matter has been posted for November 10 by the special CBI Judge O P Saini who is dealing with the 2G scam case exclusively.

“Put up on November 10, as before that case titled CBI vs Ravikant Ruia and others and the PMLA case are listed for defence evidence and arguments on charges respectively,” the judge said.

The court has however fixed September 11 to hear the CBI’s plea seeking its permission to summon some persons as prosecution witnesses, including Enforcement Directorate (ED) Deputy Director Rajeshwar Singh, in connection with the case.

Around 1150 applications filed by the accused as well as the CBI have been disposed by the court today.
