Finance Bill Passed in Assembly, TDP Walks Out

Untitled-5The first Appropriation Bill for 2014-2015 has been passed in the Telangana State Assembly unanimously on Friday after the Congress announced to support the bill setting aside the whip. Anyhow. Telugu Desam Party walked out of the House for not allowing A Revanth Reddy speak on the subject.

Jana Reddy, leader of Opposition in the Assembly announced just before the conclusion of the debate. “We are setting aside the Whip. We will completely support the Appropriation Bill.”

Speaker Madhusudhan Chary asked the floor leaders to speak but disallowed Revanth Reddy saying the chance is only for the floor leaders. Protesting on not allowing Revanth to speak, the TDP walked out.

“CM said we should all be united for the state to prosper but he is not allowing Revanth Reddy to speak,” TD floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao said.

Chief Minister responded, saying, “Revanth made an offensive comment against a Dalit Member asking him to lick his boots. He should apologise.”
