The Cyberabad Police on Wednesday launched First Responder Command Centre (FRCC) with an aim to monitor all the five zones, traffic branch, ‘Dial 100’ and to ensure quick response in their jurisdiction from security point of view.
“Three Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACPs) would be in-charge of this FRCC and would be working in three shifts from the Cyberabad main control room in the CP office. A total of 45 police officers and staff would work round-the-clock in the FRCC to monitor all five zones, traffic and Dial 100 and the First Responder vehicles,” Cyberabad Commissoner of Police C V Anand.
Commissioner also added that Night Divisional Round Officers (NDRO) would report to duty at 1.30am and work till 6am.
FRCC will prepare patrol charts on monthly basis for patrols, Blue Colts (BC) and interceptors. It would ensure that the job charts are being followed properly by organising decoys and surprise checks. . It will also monitor functioning of control rooms at night and to coordinate with DCPs, ACPs, SHOs and DIs, explained Cyberabad Police Commissioner.
