The upper-age limit for applying to the state government jobs in Telangana has been approved to maximise by five years. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao announced on Monday in the Assembly. He said that this move has been taken as to compensate the delay in the job notifications.
K Chandrasekhara Rao attempted to install confidence in the unemployed of the state by suggesting them not to worry about the delay. He announced that huge job opportunities are on the board, especially in the power sector with the setting up of proposed power plants by NTPC and BHEL.
The age relaxation should certainly boost the confidence in the youth but it would also increase the number of applications received to double. However, KCR attempts to make the irked youth of the state calm.
