Following the footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi to eliminate Terrorism

susmaIn present days, to tackle the global challenges of terrorism, the main tool is to follow the foot prints of the Father of our Nation-Mahatma Gandhi.

The current issue is not regarding whether Mahatma Gandhi was correct or not, but whether we have the courage and strength to follow his footsteps.

External Affairs Minister SushmaSwaraj was speaking, on the occasion of the ‘International Day of Non-violence’ which is commemorated annually by the UN on Gandhi’s birthday.

In the present day situation, there are many religious riots and terrorism due to which many people are affected.

Swaraj said that the world today is different from the world that Gandhi lived in, but even then to attain peace we have to follow Gandhi’s ideology.

This event was attended by a large number of UN

Ambassadors, diplomats and young children.During this event, an audio-visual on Gandhiji’s life was played.
