For Sanjay Dutt’s furlough, Action took against prison officials for Delaying Decision

For-Sanjay-Dutt's-furlough,A departmental inquiry would be ordered against erring prison officials and action would be taken against them for the delay in deciding the extension of furlough to Sanjay Dutt said Minister of state for home Ram Shinde.
From December 20, 2014 to January 1 2015, 32 prisoners were granted leave said Shinde. He said under normal circumstances it takes 45 days to take decisions about furloughs but in Mr Dutt’s case it took 113 days.
Shinde said that he spent extra days out of the jail when his furlough period ended and a decision on extension of his furlough was pending.
He said that before sunset Dutt’s should surrender ended on January 8. The actor was sent back because a decision on extension of his furlough was pending.
Shinde said “His furlough was rejected after two days but Dutt remained out of prison until then.”
