Ex MP.Dr. G Vivek took charge as advisor to the state government on interstate affairs today at Telangana secretariat. Vivek was given the rank of a cabinet minister and he has been appointed for a period of three years. Earlier this post was held by a senior leader D.Srinivas who quit this post after he being elected to Rajyasabha.
Dr. Vivek entered the new office in D block of Secretariat after performing pooja. “I work hard towards the welfarement of farmers and see that farmers get sufficient water for two crops and 9 hours of uninterrupted power ” said Dr. Vivek. Discussions would continue with the neighboring states and promised that he would play a key role in getting the share of Krishna and Godavari waters to the state.
After assuming the office Dr. Vivek met the Chief Minister K.Chandrashekar Rao at his Chamber in Assembly premesis and thanked him for appointing him as the advisor to the state government. Dr. Vivek was felicitated by CM. The duo discussed on the issues with AP that were put in the bifurcation bill.
