The Telugu Desam Party of Telangana received a fresh blow as the Telugu Desam legislature party leader and party’s senior man Errabelli Dayakara Rao joined TRS. The Rajendra Nagar TDP MLA and the party’s president of Rangareddy district Prakash Goud also joined the TRS. The TDP high command received a shock as these two MLAs joined the ‘Rose Brigade’ just within two days of the Kutbullapur MLA Vivekananda Goud opted for a pleasant journey in the car (TRS election symbol).
Errabelli speaking to the media persons said that he had left the TDP as this party had no chance of survival in the state.
The TDP high command reacted strongly to the incident of two of its party MLAs jumping into the TRS. An angry Revanth Reddy, party working president, said that it was unethical on the part of TRS to entice the TDP MLAs into its fold. He said that though 15 of the TDP MLAs left the party and joined TRS, it was intact as it had ten lakh party workers, a formidable fortress to the party.
Meanwhile the TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu suspended MLAs Errabelli, Vivekananda and Prakash Goud for their anti party activities. Chandrababu is expected to meet the party leaders to discuss the developments in the party.
