Gas from Turkmenistan to India

Work on the mega project to supply 90 million cubic meters of gas per day was inaugurated by Hamid Ansari, vice president of India and Nawaj Sharif of Pakistan and their couterparts of Afganistan and Turmenistan. The 1800 kms pipeline will cost Rs. 6000 crores and Pakistan and Afganistan also will have to bear their share in the expenditure as they share gas.
