Gold price skyrocketed today and almost touched 30,000 mark. At the close of the markets, the price of ten gram gold was Rs 29,650. This is the 11th consecutive session Gold has registered an upward trend, gaining Rs 2600. Depreciating rupee against the dollar, making imports costlier, lifted the price, analysts said.
