Google+ Hangout for ‘Skill India’

unnamedMinistry of Skill Development along with World Bank organized a Google+ Hangout  with participants from some of India’s largest companies to enable greater engagement in the skills space. The integration process would help scale skill development efforts. Citing international examples, Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy  urged industry and corporates to play a proactive role in skill training. The Google+ Hangout saw the government and corporates discuss innovative models for skill development. How Corporate Social Responsibility funds can be channeled for skill development initiatives was also on the agenda for a discussion. It marked one of the first direct engagements between the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and the corporate sector.
