Hyderabad: The resident of the city Raghunatha Rao moved to the high court seeking a directive to the makers of Pavan Kalyan and Venkatesh starrer movie Gopala Gopala to withdraw the film from the theatres until re-certification of the film by the central board of film certification. Petitioner submitted that the movie has hurt the religious sentiments of hindus, and portrays Hindu spiritual gurus in poor light degrading them. As well as woman spiritual guru has been portrayed indecently.
And film censor board in granting certification to the movie is against the principles of the union of India, issued in 1978. He urged the court to suspend the certification and to direct the censor board to re-examine the film keeping in view of the religious sentiments of Hindus.
And the TD MLAs has disqualifications from the high court. And the officials asked the advocate general of Telangana to submit his version on Jan 27 before the court on a petition seeking about joining of TRS.
He told the court that he had filed his application on November 24, 2014 and issued notices to the respondents. Speaker’s actions are tainted with legal, factual and constitutional mala fides and he is trying to save the three respondents from being disqualified.
