The Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana ESL Narsimhan on Thursday said that he would try to settle the contentious issues between the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, by means of discussions and dialogues.
The governor praised both the CMs for having a vision and enthusiasm for the development of their respective states. He also hoped that this new year would bore the fruits of development.
Till now, both KCR and Naidu have met and extended new year greetings to the Governor, but individually. The decision of Governor of sorting out contentious issues through dialogue process assumes significance in the back drop of ongoing controversy between the two states over a number of issues like conduct of EAMCET and Intermediate exams etc.
“To increase the frequency of meetings between the three of us; the two chief ministers and me that is an objective during this new year. I am confident that I will succeed. The three of us will be able to sit together and discuss issues”, the Governor said in an interaction during New Year celebrations here.
