Govt Committed to develop the agricultural sector : CM KCR

cm-KcrTelangana CM KCR in a statement by addressing the crowd at N.G Ranga University praised Prof Jayashankar. He said that Prof Jayashankar was always there in every part of Telangana movement.

KCR unveiled Prof. Jayashankar’s statue at the Agriculture University, Rajendranagar in Hyderabad. CM inaugurated the Pylon at the entrance of the University and the indoor stadium at the ladies hostel. He laid foundation for the Research Complex Examination Hall to be set up in the University complex with an estimated budget of Rs 9cr.

KCR stated that N.G Ranga University will be renamed as Prof. Jayashankar Agriculture university. “There are many to be renamed in Hyderabad, unwanted statues will be removed” CM added.
Telangana CM KCR announced a scheme ‘Mana vooru – Mana Kooragaayalu’ designed to increase the production of vegetables . He ordered the officials to give incentives to the vegetable’s farmers in order to encourage them towards farming.

Other salient points of CM KCR’s speech :

· Fee payment for Telangana students in AP
· Allotment of 15% seats to Andhra students if they wish.
· Collecting 1000 acres for green house cultivation facilitated with free power supply
· The production of vegetables to be increased now limited to 3-4 lakh metric tons, not meeting the demand of 110 lakh metric tons
