One of the major announced schemes of TRS government ‘Aasara’ will be launched on
Saturday by the Chief Minister k Chandrasekhara Rao. The senior citizens of the state and the widows will get Rs. 1,000 per month under this scheme while the physically disables get Rs. 1,500 per month. The scheme also covers the skeletal fluorosis-affected in Nalgonda district under physical disabilities.
Chief Minister will kick-start the scheme in Kottur village in Shadnagar mandal of Mahabubnagar district at 11 am by distributing pension in cash to the beneficiaries. Several ministers of KCR cabinet would distribute the pension in the other nine districts too.
K Tarakarama Rao briefed the plan saying arrangements have been made to distribute pension to at least 500 to 1000 beneficiaries in each constituency on Nov-8.
The scheme also allows more than one beneficiaries in a single family if they are eligible.
