Grenade attack in J &K, 11 hurt

unnamedA CRPF jawan and 10 muslims were injured in a grenade attack on a mosque when they were returning after prayers in the early hours in Shopian sector. Police suspected terrorists were behind the blast. This is the 22nd time Pakistan had violated the cease fire agreement along the international borders in August. Pakistan army bombed Indian check-posts continuously from Wednesday mid-night. They attacked BG, KG and Palvanvala sectors. In Poonch sector they launched mortar attacks along the Line of Control and Indian security forces strongly returned the fire. Security has been tightened in the State in view of the Independence day celebrations as the IB had already alerted about the terrorists attacks. National Security advisor Ajith Dowal has decided to corner Pakistan along with proofs border violations, terror attacks in Kashmir and their stand in Punjab during the national security advisors meeting to be held on August 23 and 24. The tradition of giving sweets to Pak jawans on August 15, was discontinued.
