Gulabi Gang leader gets pink slip!

Sampat Pal, the Banda-Bundel Khand, UP sensation Gulabi Gang founder has been removed from her post as the leader of the group by her dissenters. She is even removed from her primary membership for her self promoting, autocratic, political behavior, and is replaced with Suman Singh Chauhan, announced the group.

Sampat unilaterally decided to contest elections on a Congress ticket, went on a tour to Rae Baraeli in support of Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi against the group’s decision to support Aam Admi Party, she is not even conducting group meetings, alleged other group members.

“She also went to TV reality show Bigg Boss without consulting the working committee of the group. She had gradually become extremely selfish and minting money at the cost of the organisation.Removing her from all posts was the only option left with us.Since she has been defying decisions of the group, it was decided that she would no longer be its primary member,” Gulabi Gang national convener Jayprakash Shivhare said.

Sampat Pal has responded to the accusations saying that she has the support of the maximum number of group members, and can run the group even without her detractors. The group plans to have a March 23rd meeting to decide future course of action.
