Perhaps to assuage the ruffled feelings of minister Harish Rao, Chief Minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhara has described him as ‘bullet’ whose mercurial work deserves full marks. “the In-charge minister of Narayankhed, Harish can surge forward like a bullet. He is a hard-worker and toiled hard to reach every nook and corner of the constituency. He understands the problems of Narayankhed” KCR said during the course of his speech in an election rally at the constituency which goes to poll on Feb 13.
In fact, KCR addressed Harish as a bullet twice in his speech, once in the very beginning and again in the midst of his speech. Many eyebrows were raised after a series of news reports after the TRS’ thumping win in the GHMC polls, stating KTR is the heir-apparent to KCR. Nizamabad MP and KCR’s daughter Kavitha too has endorsed this saying he is the natural choice and his minister-brother too has proved his leadership abilities.
This led to a discussion in political and party circles as Harish, the nephew of KCR and a potential contender for KTR, has also been considered as number 2 in the cabinet by many of his followers. Harish has also reportedly stated that there is only one supremo in the party and there is no number 2 as such, thereby making it clear, he is not going to give up on the leadership issue.
