He lives on even after death!

gangula-vamsi-krishnaIn a rare case in medical history, vital organs of a youngster, who was clinically dead, were donated to various people who are in need of them.

Gangula Vamsi Krishna, a 29-year- techie, working as faculty in an engineering college in Jaggaiahpet near Vijayawada has a rare disease. Doctors of Andhra Hospital, who treated him failed to bring him back to normalcy and his body was not responding to the treatment and he slipped into coma.

This was communicated to the parents of Vamshi, who have then decided to donate the body parts to the needy. The heart has been given to Apollo Hospitals in Hyderbad and the liver to Yashoda. The eyes and kidneys were given to Ramesh Hospitals in Vijayawada. Doctors said several patients are awaiting for them and Vamshi’s parts will be of immense help.

Police in Vijayawada and Hyderabad planned ‘green channel’ to transport the body parts immediately without any traffic hassles.
