Making a major move, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton said that if elected, she would make sure half her Cabinet members were women. Eyeing on the huge women vote bank, she promised gender parity.
During an MSNBC town hall, she repeated a formulation her husband had made about Cabinets and specifically applied it to sex and a number. “Well, I am going to have a Cabinet that looks like America, and 50 per cent of America is women,” Mrs. Clinton said.
Her comments came on the eve of crucial east coast primaries- Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
