Hollywood star writes to Chandy

shutterstock_pam_anderson_in_blackA Hollywood heroine has written a letter to Kerala Chief Minister Oomen Chandy. Heroine and acrivist of Animal Rights Movement Pamela Anderson mailed to Chandy and to Kochi Devasthanam Board not to use elephants in the Thrispoor Poornam celebrations in Kerala. She said that people were against chained elephants being used in the function. She pointed out that they were stranded under the Sun for long. This is not a good practice,  she said. In place of elephants, she desired the use of toys made of bamboo and paper pulp. Kerala CM peshi officers confirmed having received the mail from Pamela. The board announced that it would take a decision after discussing with the chief minister.
