In Adilabad, 30 families of police martyrs were waiting for sanctioning housing loans for construction of houses from 20 years. The District SP Tarun Joshi enquired about the problems being faced by them. On Tuesday the Minister for Environment and Forests Jogu Ramanna handed over land pattas to police martyrs. He invited chief manager T Lakshmaiah and field officer K Sridhar Reddy of Telangana Grameena Bank to the meeting and discussed about granting loans for construction of houses.
In the meeting bank gave their suggestions and also said that they are willing to extend housing loans for the families who are willing to construct houses as per the design of their choice.
SP Tarun Joshi announced that – “We will begin the process of providing free medical treatment at corporate hospitals,” and also informed them that all the benefits will be sanctioned without any delay.
The martyrs’ families were happy and thanked SP and Collector, SPs Bhaskar Bhushan, T Panasa Reddy, Challa Praveen Kumar; CIs S Satish Kumar and S Sampath Rao, and other officials for handing over land pattas to them as the issue was pending for the past 20 years.
