In the ensuing Indo-Bhutan Rifle Shooting Championship, he is the only one from Telangana State to get selected for the national team.
He has established a place having carved a niche with his exploits across various platforms.
Hyder Ali, who is leaving for a national camp at Mhow on Thursday points out, ‘I am quite delighted to be part of the national team. It is more so because I took to the sport a mere 18 months back.’
The tournament will hold from October 25 to November 1, the team will leave for Bhutan next week. He has been blessed with a natural flair, which got evidenced in his debut year when he bagged silver in the 22 AIGVM (Pre-nationals) and established a name amid seasoned campaigners. And after that he has been winning accolades for the manner he is ascending the success ladder.
Ali says, ‘I aspire to be the best in Big Bore rifle shooting and win international laurels for the State and the nation’.
