I am silent on Shiv Sena in respect of Bal Thackeray: Modi in Maharastra

bal-modiPrime Minsiter Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed a election rally in Sangli, Maharashtra where he denied to speak against Shiv Sena in respect of Bal Thackeray, the late founder of Shiv Sena.

“Some newspapers have published that Modi has criticized Shiv Sena in his speeches. These are the first polls to take place in the absence of Balasaheb Thackerayji, he was the man who stood for the rights of people. I have decided to express my respect for him. I won’t speak a word against the Shiv Sena, this will be my tribute to him”, said Modi.

Mr. Modi urged the people of Maharashtra to give BJP the absolute majority in the lines of the general elections. “Give us a complete majority to work for you. Your problems so far have all been caused by alliance politics. An alliance has no accuntability. This election is to give Maharashtra stability and progress”, said Modi.

Modi, in his unique style, attacked the other parties Congress and Nationalist Congress, terming them as ‘Bhrashtachaar-vadi’ parties.
