I am the main servant, says Modi

modiI am not prime minister and I am only a main servant, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi at jana kalyan parva prachara sabha meeting in Mathura in UP. Stating that his government would work for the development of poor, on the eve of completing one year in office, he clarified that his government was not controlled by any remote control, which was intended as a dig at the earlier Congress government. He also made clear that there was no room for brokers in his government and that their one-year rule was scam-free. Modi also reminded that former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi had said way back that a rupee released by his government turned into 15 paise by the time the rupee reached the poor. He asserted that it was people who brought about a change in the government and his government target was to transfer the fruits of welfare schemes to the poor.
