Indian Air Force has decided to observe June 21, as International Yoga Day. Yoga has been conducted for Air warriors sine two days at Air Force formations and stations.
Yogic asanas, breathing techniques and its impact on physical and mental well being were covered. There would be a talk on benefits of Yoga followed by a 35-45 minutes camp demonstrating Yoga exercises followed by meditation for six minutes. Exercises would be held under the guidance of Yoga teachers and experts. Yoga is also planned to be conducted in Air Force schools and at IAF stations where families and children of air warriors can participate.
