Improve the Road Connectivity in Backward Areas.

minister-Tummala-NageshwaraHyderabad: The roads and building minister Tummala Nageshwara Rao informed the state legislative council to improve the road connectivity in backward areas.
The minister informed that about 716 Km length of National Highways under National Highway authority of India passing through Adilabad,Nizambad,Medak,Rangareddy,Mahabubnagar and Nalgonda districts were four-lane. They include Nagpur-hyderabad and banglore.And other new lane NH7 as new NH44, NH9 as new NH-65.Yadagirigutta section of NH-202 as new NH-163 and other new lanes in the medak districts
The Nalgonda and Warangal districts has been identified are finalized for making four-lane the minister said.
The Mohammed Ali Shabbir asked the state government to take measures to reduce traffic congestions on the routes leading to the city from various districts. It takes almost double time to reach the city’s outskirts from the neighboring district headquarters it takes almost double time to reach the destination due to heavy traffic on the city roads.
Tummala said the government was proposing to construct expressways and flyovers to decongest city roads
