Twenty eight people were killed during the Jat quota agitation in Haryana, according to Director General of Police Yashapl Singhal. He added that no untoward incident had been reported from anywhere today.
We have arrested 127 persons and registered FIR against 535 others. Over 200 persons including few security personnel were also injured during the agitation,” the DGP told a news conference here.
35 popular trains including Katra Mail, Kalka Shatabdi, Amritsar Shatabdi and Jammu Rajdhani, resumed operation today while the services of about 60 trains are still affected due to the Jat agitation.
Bramhaputra Mail and Udhampur AC Express, Andaman Express, Himachal Express, Shan-e-Punjab and Kerala Express are among those which have resumed service.
