India always want good relations with neighbours: Rajnath Singh

Rajnath-Singhunion Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday hinted to open the door to talk with Pakistan. He said that India will resume talks with Pakistan only if it responds adequately.

Rajnath Singh said in New Delhi, “If Pakistan responds properly, we will resume dialogue with them. A neighbour is a neighbour. We always want good relations with neighbours. Friends can be chosen but neighbours can’t be chosen”.

New Delhi had earlier called off the talk between the two nations when the Pakistani Ambassador to India met the separatist leaders of Jammu and Kashmir.

Continuous ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the LoC have also been a matter of concern in the relations between the two nations.
