India and China share ‘unique chemistry’, says Narendra Modi

namoJust before the Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the relationship between the neighbouring countries goes beyond “plain arithmetic”. Modi also asserted that India and China share ‘unique chemistry’.

“India and China are bound by history, connected by culture, and inspired by rich traditions. Together they can create a bright future for the entire mankind”, said Modi while speaking to the Chinese media in New Delhi.

“The arithmetic and chemistry of our relations convince me that together we can script history and create a better tomorrow for all of mankind”, added Modi.

Modi also said that if India and China and when the economic cooperation increases, lives of almost 35 per cent of the world’s population undergoes qualitative changes.

The President of China is scheduled to start his three-day-tour to India on Wednesday when he will arrive at Ahmedabad. This is the third ever visit of any Chinese President to India.
