India as Hub for Global Manufacturing

modi The Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will soon turn into a hub for global manufacturing. While participating in the ‘Make in India Week’ he said that efforts are being made to make 25 percent of the GDP in the manufacturing sector. He said that India jumped 12 ranks in the rankings of ‘Global Ease of Doing Business’ and his government would follow the policy of transparency to attract investments. The Prime Minister said foreign direct investments grew by 48 percent since his government came to power. Modi and the Union minister of Industries and Commerce Ms. Nirmala Seetharaman released the Make in India book. Indian industrial giants and foreign industrial business magnets from 72 countries attended the week long program. The Swedish prime minister Stefan Löfven and the Finnish prime minister Juha Sipilä also attended.
