India Better on Human Growth Index

UN human INDIndia scored 5 points more than last year and stood at 130th point in the human Growth index prepared by the UNO for 2014. Norway stood first among the 188 countries taken for the survey. The people of Norway stand first in enjoying healthy and dignified life among the countries. The survey revealed that out of the total population of 720 crores, 320 crores of people were employed. The average life span in India reached to 68 years. There is slight improvement in the per capita income in the country. Out of every lakh women 190 women die of uterus related problems  annually. In the labour market, the women’s share is 27 percent. The survey opined that cent percent human growth would be possible only if every person could live a dignified life.
