India, China vow to protect peace on borders: Modi

41431671629_625x300India and China are committed to protect peace on the borders, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Beijing. Prime Ministers of Indian and China signed 24 MoUs valued at Rs 63,500 crore. Earlier, Narendra Modi had a meeting with Li Keqiang on Friday. Both the leaders discussed investments and development aspects. Modi said that he was happy over the visit to China and that the relations between the two countries have been further strengthened. Discussions were held on all issues, he said. Further, he made it clear that they were committed to protect the peaceful atmosphere in the borders. Stating that States role was vital in the development of the nation, Modi said that international partnership on commercial investments was necessary. In this regard he said that fiscal ties with China were being strengthened.
