India reaches final in the Under-19 WC

Semi Final 1 - ICC Under 19 World CupIndia continued its juggernaut in the Under-19 world cup, reaching the final for the fifth time by registering an emphatic 97-run win over Sri Lanka in the semi-finals in Mirpur today.

India had won the tourney thrice in the past. It would play either West Indies or hosts Bangladesh in the final to be held on February 14. Anmolpreet Singh (72 off 92) and Sarfaraz Khan (59 off 71) played a key innings as India reached 267/9 after a shaky start. They added 96 runs in 126 balls for the third wicket which stemmed Indian innings. Later it dismissed Sri Lanka for 170 in 42.4 overs.
